• Read these instructions carefully before tting
andinstallingtheproduct.Theproductmustnot
beusedbyanybodywhohasnotreadthesein-
structions.
• Keepthismanualforfuturereference.
• WARNING!Accordingtocaraccidentstatistics,
therearseatsofavehiclearegenerallysaferthan
thefrontseat:itisthereforerecommendedtot
thechildcarseatintotherearseatsofthecar.
Inparticular,thecentralrearseat is thesafest,
whenttedwitha3-pointsafetybelt.
• Itisrecommendedtoensurethatallpassengers
knowhowtoreleasethechildfromthecarseat
inthecaseofanemergency.
• Ifthechildcarseatisttedinthefrontseatof
thecarwiththefrontairbaginstalled,inorderto
ensuremaximum safety,it is recommended to
pushtheseatbackasmuchaspossible,bearing
inmindthecomfortofthepassengersittingin
theseatdirectlybehindit.
• Onlytthechildcarseatontoseatswhichare
fastenedtothecarchassisandfacingforwards.
Makesurethatallfoldingor rotating carseats
are always rmly fastened in place, otherwise
theycouldbedangerous.
• Paycloseattentiononhowtotthechildseat
intothevehicle,topreventa loose seator car
doorfrominterferingwithit.
• Nochildcarseatcanguaranteethetotalsafety
ofyourchildintheeventofanaccident,butthe
useofthisproductreducestheriskofseriousin-
juriesordeath.
• The risk of serious injuries to the childincrea-
ses,notonlyinthecaseofaccidents,butalsoin
othercircumstances(i.e.:suddenbrakingetc.),if
theseinstructionsarenotfollowedcarefully.
• If the child car seat is damaged, deformed or
wornout,itmustbereplaced,asitsoriginalsa-
fetyfeaturesmayhavebeencompromised.
• Thisproductmustnotbemodiedinanyway,
unlessthemanufacturerapprovesthemodica-
tion.
• Do not install accessories, spare parts, or any
componentnotsuppliedbythemanufacturer.
• Never leave your child unattended in the car
seatforanyreason.
• Neverplaceanythingexceptanapprovedacces-
sorybetweenthevehicleseatandthechildcar
seatorbetweenthechildcarseatandthechild:
in the event of an accident, the child car seat
maynotoperatecorrectly.
• It is highly recommendednot to leave the car
andchild car seatin the sunfortoo long.This
willpreventpotentialburnstothechildandalso
guaranteethat the components and fabric co-
lourswilllastlonger.Ifthevehiclehasbeenleft
inthesun,checkthatthedifferentpartsofthe
childcarseatarenottoohotbeforeseatingthe

nakedeye.Itmustthereforebereplaced.

• Theseatfabricmustonlybereplacedwithano-
therapprovedbythemanufacturerasitconsti-
tutes an integral part of the child car seat.To
ensurethesafetyofthechildcarseat,neveruse
itwithoutitsfabriccover.
• Checkthatthecarseatbeltsarenottwistedand
trytopreventthem,oranyotherpartofthecar
seatfromgettingtrappedinthecardoororrub-
bingagainstsharpobjects.
• Thechildcarseatmustnotbeusedwhenthecar
seatbeltsarecutorfrayed.
• Whenthechildcarseatisnotinuseinsidethe
vehicle,itshouldbeleftsecuredtothecar’sseat,
orstowedinthecar’sboot.Anunsecuredchild
carseatmaybeasourceofdangerfortheother
passengersintheeventofanaccidentorsudden
braking.
• Donottransportlooseorunsecuredobjectsor
baggageonthebackshelfofthevehicle:inthe
event, of an accident or sudden braking, they
mayinjurethepassengers.
• Checkthatthecarseatheadrestdoesnotinter-
ferewiththechildseatheadrest:donotpushit
forwards.Ifthisisthecase,removetheheadrest
fromthecarseatonwhichthechildseatist-
ted,withoutrestingitontheluggagerack.
• Ensure that all the car passengers fasten their
seatbelt,fortheirownsafetyandbecause,du-
ringthejourney,theymayinjurethechildinthe
event of an accident or sudden braking of the
car.
• 0nlongjourneysmakefrequentstops.Children
tireeasily.Nevertakeyourchildoutofthechild
seatwhilstthecaris moving foranyreason.If
yourchildneedsattention,ndasafeplaceand
pullover.
• This product is expressly intended to be used
onlyas a child car seat;it should not be used
indoors.
